2. Data We Collect
We collect personal data you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, property preferences, budget range, and any information shared through our contact form or WhatsApp conversations. We may also collect basic analytics data (pages visited, device type) through our website.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to: respond to your property enquiries, match you with suitable properties, schedule viewings and consultations, send relevant property alerts (with your consent), and comply with our legal obligations under UAE law including AML/CFT regulations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the basis of: (a) your consent when you submit an enquiry or opt into communications; (b) contractual necessity when we are acting as your broker; (c) legal obligation when we are required to verify your identity and source of funds under UAE AML/CFT law (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018).
5. AML/CFT Requirements
As a RERA-registered real estate broker and DNFBP under UAE law, we are legally required to collect and retain certain personal and financial information for Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing compliance. This includes identity documents, proof of address, and source of funds documentation. These records are retained for a minimum of five years as required by law.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with: property developers (with your consent, for off-plan enquiries), the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) if legally required to file a Suspicious Transaction Report, and our technology and communication service providers who process data on our behalf.
7. Data Retention
Enquiry data is retained for 12 months after your last interaction unless you request deletion. Client transaction records and AML/CFT documentation are retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018.
8. Your Rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements), and withdraw consent at any time.
